Principal/Director

Lisa has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance (QUT) and is a qualified teacher and examiner for the Asia Pacific Dance Assoiciation (APDA) and Aerial Arts  certified in both Hoop and Silks. She has had much experience teaching, examining and choreographing routines over many areas of Brisbane. Lisa has also completed her Advanced 1 RAD ballet exam, Jazz Addict Australasia (solo seal), Lucidity (level 10) and BBDS Hiphop from the APDA syllabus. Over Lisa’s 10+ years of teaching she has experience with multiple age groups, including extensive work with 2-5yrs within Childcare centres. She aims to foster a love for dance in all whilst striving for a solid technical foundation.

ARAD, BA Dance (QUT), RAD Reg’d Teacher, FATD Reg’t Teacher for Tap and Modern. Also Dual Examiner for JazzAddict Australasia, Urban Ignition Hip-Hop and Lucidity Contemporary Syllabus with The Asia Pacific Dance Association (APDA). Lynelle has trained in all styles of dance from the age of 6, and completed her Advanced (now Adv 2) RAD Ballet exam before graduating with a BA Dance from QUT in 1993 and has been teaching Classical, Tap, Jazz, Hip-hop, Contemporary and Musical Theatre for more than 20 years.

Dancing since the age of three, Arabella has trained in the styles of Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, AcroDance, Ballet and Hip-Hop. She has completed her Advance 1 RAD ballet exam, Jazz Addict Australasia (Solo Seal), Lucidity (Level 10), BBDS Hip-Hop and most recently has become a certified Acrobatic Arts teacher. She also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Distinction). Arabella loves teaching and encouraging students to challenge themselves and extend their range of skills.

Christine Bowden

Singing Teacher

Singing teacher Chrissy Bowden has been teaching and singing professionally around Brisbane and abroad for the last 15 years. Currently she performs as the lead female vocalist with award winning Brisbane based covers band “Supersonic”, and is a ‘sister’ in “The Andrew’s Sisters Tribute Show”. Chrissy has performed in a number of Musical Theatre productions, including “Cabaret”, “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Heart and Music Broadway Concert”, “Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat”, and more recently played the role of “Baroness Elsa Schraeder” in “The Sound of Music”. Chrissy is highly experienced in teaching all styles of Musical Theatre and Contemporary singing to all ages and levels, and is fully qualified with a Bachelor of Music, and Masters of Music (Voice Major) from QUT.

Anita was born and dance-trained in Townsville, Australia. Intending to follow a career in Health, but wanting to fulfill her urge to perform, she accepted a short dance contract in Asia and hasn’t looked back! After performing in Thailand, Japan, and on the Sydney Showboat in Australia, she then went on to dance on Cruise Ships in America and Europe, at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, and in Musical Theatre including the role of Lorraine in ‘42nd Street’, Germany. She holds a dual examiner for JazzAddict Australasia and Lucidity Contemporary Syllabus with The Asia Pacific Dance Association (APDA). In 2014 she launched Spring Pointe, a structured play-based pre-ballet program for 3-4 year olds. She believes in the multi-faceted benefits of learning dancing and urges students to follow the challenging but thoroughly worthwhile path of dance in whatever way they choose.

Kayla Wong

Kayla Wong

Teacher / Dancer

Since the age of 3 Kayla has been trained in the styles of jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, AcroDance, musical theatre and hip-hop. During her years of dance, she has completed her Jazz Addict Australasia exams up to Advanced Two and has received the highest examination mark in Australasia for seven consecutive years. She has also performed in the Ballet theatre of Queensland’s 2013 production of The Little Mermaid and appeared in the guest performance item at the RAD 2014 Jacqueline Morland Awards. Additionally, she has trained for seven years in artistic gymnastics and five years in rhythmic gymnastics. As a teacher Kayla wishes to use her past experiences and training to help encourage students to reach their full potential.
